Synchronic
Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan are cast as Steve and Dennis, two New
Orleans paramedics and longtime best friends in this 2020 film. The film is a
sci-fi psychological thriller in which the two respond to a series of bizarre
accidents that they are unable to initially figure out the cause, relating them
to some drug that they always found on the scene.
But after Dennis’ oldest daughter disappears, the two would be forced
to come to terms with the truth about the psychedelic that will challenge
everything they know about reality – and even life itself.
Cocomelon
This children’s YouTube channel programme has made its way to the
Netflix stable. The full first season of the preschool programming is now
available to stream, which provides parents with a three hour-long episodes to
entertain their kids and teach them new skills.
Cocomelon isn’t all fun and games though – it educates children on
numbers, letters and animals, using catchy nursery rhymes and songs to teach
each lesson. Parents are no doubt finding it useful in keeping the little ones
in check and in one place – for now.
Who Killed Sara?
This thriller which is new to the Netflix stable follows the story of
Alex Guzman, played by Leo Deluglio; a man who was framed for the murder of his
sister, Sara. Created by Jose Ignacio Valenzuela, the possibilities of this
drama are endless and the overall vibe is energetic enough with good
performances to keep viewers’ attentions even though the plotline threatens to
get weedy with so many characters, conflicts and dramas.
Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn
This Nickelodeon family sitcom has been around now for a few seasons
and appears to be, yet, gaining traction on Netflix Top Ten just like the
network’s other hits like iCarly. The show follows the story of a group of
quadruplet siblings who each have their own unique and distinct personality,
from the whip-smart Ricky to the independent Dawn.
The Baker And The Beauty
This ABC drama-comedy inspired by an Israeli series of the same name
stars Daniel Garcia who makes sweet confectioneries on the show. It first
debuted on ABC last year and is now available on Netflix. The series is a
light, fun show which follows the story of the Garcia family and the bakery
which is at the centre of their family lives and as well as the exciting
relationship between a humble baker and a glamorous model (Natalie Kelley).
The Serpent
Tahar Rahim stars as a serial conman Charles Sobhraj aka the “Bikini
Killer” in this Netflix's new intake. It follows the story of Sobhraj’s reign
of terror throughout Asia in the 1970s and Interpol’s repeated and unsuccessful
attempts to capture him. A little caution though; this terrifying tale might
just make you not want to travel ever again.
Sniper: Ghost Shooter
This film is the sixth installment of the Sniper series and sequel to
Sniper: Legacy (2014). A team of snipers has to foil the attempts of a
terrorist group planning to sabotage a gas pipeline. However, a ghost shooter
who has all possible information on the snipers makes them a target.
This elite group of snipers soon realizes that there is a security
breach that allows the ghost sniper to lock in on their exact location with
deadly precision. Fingers of suspicion are pointed and battle lines are drawn
as these snipers must now do everything to outwit the ghost sniper and those
behind his mission leading to an explosive climax.
Let me say that now that Netflix has unveiled its “Top 10” feature, we
get an assessment of what people are actually watching on the streaming service
from time to time. Each day, the “Top 10” feature shows the most popular films and
TV shows as viewed by subscribers.
Consequently, this list might change before you get to read this
submission on Netflix's Top Ten here. But at least, the article might act as a
guide to what is most probably most exciting to watch at this point in time.
Meanwhile, go binge on Netflix!
